Synopsis
allenjhall.com is an extremely simple blog design that will forever be a work in progress. The ultimate goal of the design was to come up with something that was minimalistic and scholarly. I'm not sure how much of the "scholarly" aspect was achieved in the current version, but I'm hoping that the serifs in the Georgia typeface accomplish this to a small degree.
Development Environment
For the most part, this site was developed in a typical Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) environment. Earlier versions of the site had some textural artwork designed in Photoshop.
